New Fishy Mural for a Bathroom Wall !

April 7, 2008 by goldeneggfarm

I am excited about this new mural for a bathroom wall. It is a delicious turquoise color with a darker blue rubbed in and glazed clear over all. It is surrounded by a rustic terra cotta tile that varies in color. Very beautiful if I do say so myself !

Web Site Under Construction!

March 21, 2008 by goldeneggfarm

Many mistakes and mix-ups but it is on the way to completion!

It is very hard to design a page when you are not able to do it yourself.

I am looking for a way to make my own webpage and have total control of it.

Golden Egg Farm sells hatching eggs and poultry and pottery

That is the basic message.

And another basis message that is dying to come out:

Keep small farms alive! Support your local farmer.

How else can we have a say about our own food and control the corporations who want to mass produce everything ?

Have we thrown out the baby with the bathwater? Animals produce food for us naturally. We owe them the respect and thanks due. We owe them happy lifestyles while they are on this earth! What kind of karma surrounds food produced under crowded, forced, and medicated conditions? Nature tells us that if we overcrowd, we die. It is not our role to fight Nature but to be part of it by showing respect for the earth and the creatures of the earth.

These huige chickens are very friendly and gentle. They cruise around your yard like sculpture!

This particular strain has been developed by adding Show Quality Roosters each year to make an even more beautiful bird. We shall see how they do at the shows in the Fall. Young adults available in the Fall and HAtcing  Eggs all Spring ,Summer, and Fall.

Thanks for reading, and Happy Spring!!!I can not believe I am seeing the ground and the chickens are out scratching again! I can actually walk without falling on ice, frozen lumps of slush and depp snow. I am happy to trade for mud !

What a long winter, I have never had so much trouble walking as this year - is it age or cochin-777.jpgGlobal Warming?
